Capt. David is a 5th generation Florida native, born and raised in Englewood, FL, on the north shore of Charlotte Harbor! David grew up on the water with a love of fishing passed down from his father and grandfather before him and spent countless days and hours on the water with his father learning the skills he is utilizing today! From wading the grass flats to canoeing the backwaters, David learned Charlotte Harbor like the back of his hand! Today with his wife Stephanie, David continues the fishing tradition by passing his skills and love of fishing to their 3 sons Joshua, Matthew & Caleb!
The knowledge of the local waters and its fish over the past 30 years led David to pursue fishing as an avocation and a competitive hobby! He is a well accomplished professional tournament angler, winning and placing in the top five in numerous tournaments over the past few years, including the Flatsmasters Redfish Series, the Elite Pro Redfish Tour, the IFA Redfish Tour, the Xtreme Redfish Series, the Junior Flatsmasters (with his sons), and the Guy Harvey Ultimate Shark Challenge which he won as a first time entrant in 2011!

Team Budweiser 22' Pathfinder Tournament Edition - For speed & comfort, this versatile bay/flats boat will get you almost anywhere you need to go from a few miles offshore to less than 1 foot of water in the backcountry! This boat is used exclusively for tarpon charters and tournaments as well as most backcountry adventures!
Pathfinder 17t Tunnel Hull - The "little boat" will get you into the shallowest of areas during the extreme low tides! Used only in the winter months to get us where no one else can go!
